For an update of qualifying medical conditions, please visit the Illinois Department of Public Health’s website. In addition, patients cannot own or be employed as any of the following to receive a medical marijuana card:
- Cannot own a commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Cannot own a school bus permit
- Cannot work as law enforcement officer, correctional officer, correctional probation officer, or firefighter
